Why choose me?

Business and personal divorces taught me some hard lessons about relationships... hence the grey hair. But they also gave me the motivation to discover what's the key to success.

Training as a marital therapist, a psychology degree and two sets of coach training followed, coupled with masses of reading.

More importantly, I began to put into practice emerging ideas in practical situations, some described in the stories on this website.

Our two-day Management Team Meeting was a huge success.   It was tough going; the first day in particular threw up some real problems and I was not sure how it would all end.  However, having agreed the objective with Richard in advance I found it an immense benefit not to have to manage the process as well as think about my own role and how I relate to other team members.   As a facilitator he stuck to the terms of reference and time scales, although he did this flexibly, and we got what we wanted - a management team that is united and has a clear sense of its role and priorities in the coming year. Great.

This encouraged me to pursue these techniques and ideas and to bring them together to create the Trust Model for business relationship coaching.
